If you have yet to see the new and improved trailer for the new Great Gatsby movie, which was released today, then get on over to IMDb and experience the magic. Lana del Rey's new song that was created for the movie is featured in it, a cover of Amy Winehouse's "Back to Black," and many other hot artists are listed at the end of the trailer. If you are a fan of the book, like I am, and have seen the first trailer, then you were probably upset about how it ruined every single important plot point in the story, without even giving you a sense of what was good about Baz Luhrmann's take on it (besides the perfect casting of Leo DiCaprio as Gatsby). It gave us a glance at the cinematography, but this new trailer will make your heart sink into comfort with the beautiful flashback sequences and how much Luhrmann emphasizes the importance of the green light across the bay. Now I am much more confident about seeing it and excited to enjoy this story, which I had declared to be not meant to be a movie after seeing Jack Clayton's shortcomings in his depiction of Fitzgerald's masterpiece. My inkling has tentatively changed. Also, I am obsessed with the new posters, both the character ones and the spectacular cover. Thoughts?
Also, we get to see Gatsby in 3D!
