Happy Birthday, Quentin Tarantino! Today he officially turns fifty. To celebrate I watched Pulp Fiction and had brownies with red QTs on them on set. In the past half-century this extraordinary person has gone from being a video store clerk to being a legendary filmmaker. Even his earliest movies, Reservoir Dogs and Pulp Fiction were made so beautifully with such brilliant talent behind the camera. His two latest masterpieces, Inglourious Basterds and Django Unchained give history a new perspective with unlikely heroes and plot turns. Outside of his movies, Mr. Tarantino makes the most of life by going on adventures -- such as riding horses in Africa while running from elephants -- and socializing with the biggest stars in the best city in the world: Los Angeles, CA. I cannot wait to see what Quentin will amaze us with next. Happy March 27th!
